The Philippines brings its brand of wellness and sustainability to WTM 2022
Team Out of Town Blog Hub (Outoftownblog.com) – The Tourism Promotion Board (TPB) Philippines and the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) in the UK are leading the Philippines’ participation in WTM 2022 from November 7-9 at ExCeL London Bicol Express – Food In Catanduanes to showcase the best of the country, the Philippines Pavilion features popular destinations such as Palawan, Cebu, Boracay, Bohol, Siargao, Cordilleras and Manila as well as highlighting diverse cultural performances, including the Kadayawan Festival from Davao and the Bicol Express from the Bicol region. With this year’s theme centered around Wellness and Sustainability, Filipino Network Night will take place on November 8 at “The Retreat,” a Philippines-sponsored area where event-goers can experience a nature-inspired spa setting and indulge in “Hilot” (pronounced he-lot) It is an ancient Filipino healing practice. Visitors will also be treated to catering, food presentations, and pocket shows by prominent Filipino artists. It immerses visitors in the unique Filipino brand. The heart and soul of our people and the stories we fight to survive. Wellness, sustainability, design, culture and tradition are just some of the many ingredients that come with our latest travel packages. Combined with sun, beach, diving destinations, adventure tours, colorful festivals and a culinary fusion, we have high hopes that the Philippines will be a destination of the year’s WTM is not only expected to benefit the global travel industry but also to restore travel confidence.
